Right-click on My Computer and click Manage. Expand Services and Applications and click on Services. Find the Windows Management Instrumentation service, right-click it, and choose Stop. Open My Computer, then go to (assuming Windows is installed on C) C:\Windows\System32\WBEM\Repository. Delete it. Return to the Windows services screen; find Windows Management Instrumentation, right-click on it, and choose Start. Restarting this service will rebuild the repository folder information.
