go to main menu>settings>connectivity>datta communication>data accounts>new accounts>gprs then proceed as follows

apn : airtelgprs.com
username :blank
password :blank
then save it and again go to main menu>settings>connectivity>datta communication>internet settings>internet profile>new profile and proceed as follows
name :mobileoffice
connect using::mobileoffice
use proxy:yes
or you can also surf without enabling proxies
proxy address:100.1.200.99
port:8080
Use the above setting for streaming also
U can also give extra initialization command
Go to control panel>>modem>>select a modem{ur phone modem}>>properties advanced>>Extra initialization command then copy and past the below code

SIMPLE SETTINGS FOR GETTING GPRS ON PC:
For sony ericsson :
create a new GPRS data communication having
airtelgprs.com APN(access point name) leaving other blank and save as 1st
Then connect your phone to computer via Bluetooth or USB cable (make sure that u have already installed PC suite ) and then click on the network connection in the control panel and create new dial up internet connection manually use ur correct modem from the list and put
*99*1# as dialing number then click on Finish now you can browse through aitel

now u can use GPRS
